Serge Bourassa LL. M., M.B.A.

Serge Bourassa joined CEIM in 1997 to begin building its New Technology group. In year 2000, he launched CEIM’s Centre de développement des technologies de l’information. Serge Bourassa has twenty-five years of experience, mostly in financing and business consulting. Before joining the CEIM, he held responsibilities at the Banque Nationale de Paris (Canada), at Roynat Inc. and at the Canadian Bankers Association (professional training). He practised bank law and corporate law with the law firm of McMaster Meighen (later known as Borden Ladner Gervais). Serge Bourassa also practised as a management consultant and lawyer in independent practice serving, among others, the Development Bank of Canada and small and medium-sized enterprises. Serge Bourassa has taught finance at UQAM and business financing at HEC Montréal. In 2010, he was Chair, Quebec Chapter, of the Ernest C. Manning Awards Foundation.

Serge Bourassa holds a Bachelor in Business Administration (finance) from HEC Montréal, a M.B.A. from the University of Western Ontario (finance and international business), including a work term at the Université Catholique de Louvain, a Bachelor of Law (corporate law and bank law) and a Master of Law (corporate finance and economic legal analysis) from the Université de Montréal. He is a member of the Barreau du Québec.
