Christian Perron has been working on Montreal\u2019s economic development for over twenty years. He has developed knowledge in the new economy, business models as well as the opportunities generated by the emergence of new technologies.<\/h4>\n

Notably, he has been involved in the financing of numerous technology companies operating in the gaming, special effects and AI sectors.<\/h4>\n

He successfully led Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique Ville-Marie from 2004 to 2014 and PME MTL Centre-Ville from 2015 to 2021.<\/h4>\n

Recently, he played a key role in managing federal, provincial, and municipal emergency funds to counter the effects of COVID-19 on businesses located in downtown Montreal.<\/h4>\n

Prior to that, Christian Perron worked as a consultant in finance and commercialization.<\/h4>\n

In addition, Christian has served for two and a half years in the federal government as a special advisor to the Minist\u00e8re des Finances, Conseil du Tr\u00e9sor and Minist\u00e8re de l\u2019Industrie.<\/h4>\n

He began his career in commercial credit at the Royal Bank of Canada.<\/h4>\n

Christian Perron has a Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc.) in Political Science from the University of Montreal and holds a Master\u2019s degree (M.Sc.) in Management Sciences from the University of Quebec.<\/h4>\n
